Biographical writing ranges from short articles to book-length works and of course, spans history and includes contemporary figures.  The resources listed are not exhaustive, but provide a start. How do I download as a pdf a chapter from a e-book in eBrary?

Capture a chapter or selected pages from an ebook by using the PRINT function.  Selecting the print icon opens a window allowing you to PRINT TO PDF.  Here are the steps:

  1. Sign in to ebrary using your Port username and password.
  2. Open the book you are using in Read Online and navigate to the pages you want to print.
  3. Click the print icon, choose the pages you want, and click Continue.
  4. PDF copy of the pages you selected will be created.  Print or save.

Publishers limit the number of pages you may copy to PDF from any one book.
