How to download a chapter from an electronic book in Ebrary:

Capture a chapter or selected pages from an ebook by using the PRINT function.  Selecting the print icon opens a window allowing you to PRINT TO PDF.  Here are the steps:

  1. Sign in to ebrary using your Port username and password.
  2. Open the book you are using in Read Online and navigate to the pages you want to print.
  3. Click the print icon, choose the pages you want, and click Continue.
  4. PDF copy of the pages you selected will be created.  Print or save.

Publishers limit the number of pages you may copy to PDF from any one book.

What Liberty Center students need to know about book delivery

To request books from Lane Library's collection be sent to you at Liberty Center:

  • place an ILLIAD request for the book. Login to ILLIAD with your 907# and last name as default password. 
  • You will need author, title, publisher and year of publication for the book (easily found in the library's catalog).  
  • Write a message in the notes field of the form stating, "I'm a Liberty Center student and and need the book sent to Liberty Center." Thanks!
